INS AND OUTS
(MATT LUCAS - Quits after 3 fantastic seasons)
As we say godbye to four more players joining Sabri and Ronan by leaving the club, we welcome six new players to Chandlers Ford Youth Under 13's. These include five trialists that have been taken on and the return of one familiar face after two seasons away from the club.
We say thank you to Matt Lucas who finished his career with us with figures of 150 appearances and 88 goals and to Reece Middleton, 140 appearances with 90 goals. Both tremendous records and achievements, making major contributions to the team over the last three years - having joined the club when we formed back in Mini Soccer.
We would also like to thank Jack Goodeve who made 34 appearances in his only season at the club last year (05-06), scoring a couple of goals.
The sixth player to leave is Dale Hansford, thank you also. Dale leaves the club after three seasons of playing when he was available as other commitments such as swimming and playing for the Southampton Rep. team prevented the talented winger from playing as often as Richard would have liked. He notched up 22 appearances with 2 goals.
Now looking to the positives, we welcome five successful trialists, Ryan Dennis, Aiden Chandler, Gavin Hawkins, Miles Hodge and Ahmed Sfagsi. All of which have done well in friendlies, six a sides and training and fully deserve their places in the squad.
The sixth recruit to the side is Thorsten Tramischus. A very big welcome back to the club after his return following two seasons away from CFY. Thorsten will bring strength, skill and experience to the squad (as his five goals in training last week proves!!), he has already played 74 games and scored 45 goals from the 2003/2004 season in Mini Soccer Football.
