The next day at school, the pain was unbearable and after a trip to the local A&E it was discovered there was indeed a fracture following the x-rays.
CFY will be without their captain for roughly five weeks, one of these has thankfully already gone as Joe already sat out the Warsash defeat on the first game of the new league season.
It remains to be seen how this injury might effect the opening few games. That said, we are confident in the likes of David Smith, Alex Evens and others stepping up to take their opportunity whilst Joe is out.
Meanwhile, the club have been drawn against AFC Portchester B Under 15's in the second round of the Hampshire Cup on Saturday 13th October 2007.
